ROCHESTER, Minn.-The Minnesota Senate Capital Investment Committee visited Rochester on Wednesday, Sept. 17 as part of a greater tour of 12 different communities and their proposed bonding projects for 2026.
The City of Rochester was highlighting two projects specifically at the first stop on the tour.
One of those was a $2.3 million redesign of Civic Center Drive and Broadway Avenue meant to improve traffic lights, pedestrian infrastructure and replace aging features.
The other was a $9 million sewer renovation project to make way for new housing development in the southeast portion of the city.
