Kain Dawson and Ben Hardy

A pair of drug dealers used bulk messaging to supply addicts in a Nottinghamshire town. Kain Dawson and Ben Hardy were providing Class A drugs across Sutton-in-Ashfield through the use of bulk messaging via a mobile phone line.

The duo had their homes raided by officers, and drugs, bundles of cash, high-value clothing and jewellery were found. Mobile phones also seized during the operation provided further evidence of the pair's criminality.

An investigation was launched into Hardy after intelligence suggested he was running a line into Sutton and an address in Westbourne Road was being used as a drugs den. On June 17, warrants were carried out at the property and at Hardy's home on Mansfield Road.
