MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A highly anticipated grocery store coming to Myrtle Beach has set an opening date.

Trader Joe’s revealed on Thursday that its new Myrtle Beach location will open on Sept. 30.

The grand opening on Sept. 30 will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, giveaways and “fun samples.”

This will be the first Trader Joe’s in the Myrtle Beach area, and it will sit at 115 Sayebrook Parkway in the Sayebrook Plaza, where Route 544 and 17 Bypass intersect.

Officials said it will be 9,429 square feet in size.

It will operate from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
