ST. LOUIS – Investigators with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department have identified the human remains found inside a tote bag over the weekend in north city.

Homicide detectives were called to an overgrown lot in the 4900 block of Harney Avenue, in the Mark Twain neighborhood, around 12:30 p.m. Sunday after officers discovered a woman’s body stuffed in a bag and abandoned.

On Sept. 18, St. Louis police identified the remains as Paige Kleinheider of Union, Missouri. Kleinheider was 35. A cause of death has not been disclosed.
