Over 1,000 are expected to gather for a vigil for Charlie Kirk in Boston Common on Thursday night, organizers said.
“We gather not only to honor Charlie’s leadership and his unwavering voice for America, but to stand together as proud patriots committed to faith, freedom, and our great nation,” the vigil’s host Brian Foley, a former candidate for Boston City Council, posted of the event. “This vigil is more than remembrance, it is a statement of unity and resolve against those who wish to weaken the values we hold dear.”
The vigil is planned for 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday night in the Boston Common. Though the original location is listed as the gazebos, organizers moved the location to the steps in front of the State House.
