PADUCAH, Ky. (KFVS) - A man driving a moped died in a crash in Paducah on Thursday morning, September 18.
According to the Paducah Police Department, officers responded to the crash at the intersection of Coleman Road and Coleman Crossing Circle after 8 a.m. on Thursday.
They say a 2024 Trail Master moped, driven by 60-year-old Erich Sternberg, of Paducah, disregarded a stop sign and hit the side of a trailer being pulled by a 2024 Ford F-250 driven by a 56-year-old Arlington, Ky. man.
Sternberg died at the scene.
According to police, the road was closed for two-and-a-half hours for the crash investigation.
