CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Four people have been arrested and charged with murder after the death of a 4-year-old in Charlotte on Wednesday.
The Sept. 17 shooting happened around 6:15 a.m. along Cigar Court in the Roxborough II neighborhood in the Steele Creek area. It claimed the life of a 4-year-old boy, Jayce Edwards.
Records showed 24-year-old Marquise Geurrier, 20-year-old Angelo Hudson, 23-year-old Jordan Davis, and 18-year-old Anthony Abel were all charged with murder.
Neighbors speak out
Neighbors said they’re still emotionally recovering from the loss of Jayce, who has been described as a joy. Some placed flowers on the family’s door, and others said the community is working to make sure the family feels supported.
