BOISE, Idaho — Timberline High School officials and Boise Police are investigating what they're calling a "vague threat" found in a boys restroom at the school, prompting increased police presence Thursday.

The threat was written on a bathroom dispenser but was not directed at specific individuals, according to a letter sent to families and staff by Principal Chad Wright.

"We are committed to the safety and security of our students and staff," Wright wrote. "Timberline's administration and Boise Police have examined the graffiti and are currently investigating the threat's credibility, but do not have specific concerns at this time."

The district said classes are scheduled to proceed normally.
