LEAVENWORTH, Wash. — The Chelan County Sheriff's Office believes it found the remains of Travis Decker, the man charged with three counts of murder and kidnapping for the deaths of his daughters, Paityn, Evelyn and Olivia.
The remains were found in a remote wooded area south of Leavenworth during a search involving multiple agencies.
"While positive identification has not yet been confirmed, preliminary findings suggest the remains belong to Travis Decker," a statement from the Chelan County Sheriff's Office reads.
The sheriff's office is processing the scene with the help of the Washington State Patrol crime scene response team. DNA analysis will be done after.
