Rememberance

Editor’s note: This letter was written on Sept. 11, 2025. One day after the assassination of Charlie Kirk Sept. 10. 2025.

Today is a day of remembrance, 9/11. A day we said we would never forget. A time we all came together to mourn but also a time of unity. We stood together celebrating our common heritage and love for our country despite our differences. Again, a day we said we would never forget…we forgot.

Yesterday, we lost a great man, we lost Charlie Kirk. A conservative activist, an entrepreneur, a debater, a leader of a national youth movement, a social media influencer, a husband, a father, and a friend.

We lost him not because he was warring with physical weapons, but rather because he stood for righteousness. He stood for the truth, he stood for morals, he stood for our nati
