The Hercules luxury apartment complex in Canton has been sold for $9.5 million, according to the latest real estate transfers filed with the Stark County Auditor's Office.

Canton South End Development LLC, which lists a Baltimore address on county paperwork, purchased the apartments from Broadview Development Co. LLC.

The multimillion development at 1000 Market Ave. S opened to tenants in 2018 . The developers had converted roughly 125,000 square feet of the former Hercules Motor Co. facility into 90 market-rate apartments at the corner of Market Avenue S and 11 th Street SE.

Earlier this year, the city of Canton settled a lawsuit with the Hercules investors over unpaid principal.
