The number of candidates running for Mayor of Worcester has grown to three.

Owura-Kwaku Sarkodieh, the founder and CEO of Sarkodieh Real Estate, announced on Facebook Sunday that he would run both for mayor and city council.

Born in Ghana and a resident of Worcester since 2000, Sarkodieh’s policies include support for gun buyback programs as a means to improve safety in Worcester, according to his website . His website reads that he also wants to encourage more development in Worcester while, at the same time, preserving the city’s landmarks.
