KENT COUNTY, MI - This weekend is packed with a collection of events in the region, whether you’re into doughnuts and beer, live performances or cultural celebrations.

Some of the events planned include the world-renowned ArtPrize interactive art competition in Grand Rapids and the vibrant Hispanic Heritage Fiesta in Grand Haven.

ArtPrize

2025 marks the 15th anniversary of ArtPrize in the Grand Rapids area.

Initially developed in 2009 by Rick DeVos, the founder who later became chairman of the annual event, ArtPrize is now run by a group comprising Downtown Grand Rapids Inc., the city of Grand Rapids, and Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University.
