LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A woman is in the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections after detectives were called to reports of a small child left on the streets.
Officers were called out to W Oak Street Thursday for reports of a endangered child left in the stroller on the sidewalk.
Once officers were there, they say Mariah Williams came outside and told police that she had only left the child there to purchase groceries.
Witnesses speaking with police told officers another story, saying the Williams was not in any store, that the child’s stroller was there with the wheels backed up to the curb and that they had to go to the door of a residence and knock to get her to come outside.
