JAMESTOWN — The Jamestown Fire Department responded to a report of an electrical fire Thursday night, Sept. 18, in northeast Jamestown, according to Capt. Sheldon Mohr.
Three units and 18 firefighters responded to 319 6th Ave. NE at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday to a report of a fire underneath the deck.
Mohr said the fire was out on arrival and firefighters checked for hot spots.
Mohr said the cause of the fire was from an electrical wire that was not capped off.
Firefighters were on scene for about 20 minutes. No injuries were reported.
