Ralph Rebandt, pastor of a Farmington Hills church, is running for the second time as a Republican candidate for governor, The Detroit News reported.
He is pastor at Oakland Hills Community Church. Rebandt sought the Republican nomination in the 2022 election but lost in the primary.
“For the past four years, it has been a privilege to travel the state of Michigan and to observe, listen, and participate in public dialogue, he said, according to WLNS.
“I’ve gained insight into the needs and desires of the citizens of our great state, and some of the most meaningful conversations I’ve had have been with young people,” said Rebandt.
During the previous campaign, he said: “If we don’t get God right in this next election, nothing will matter.”
