For the second time Friday morning, more than 100 Los Angeles firefighters battled a major fire in a commercial building, this one in East Hollywood, though neither blaze caused injuries.

The greater-alarm fire was reported about 9:15 a.m. Friday at a four-story office building housing a private school at 320 N. Vermont Ave. , north of Beverly Boulevard, in East Hollywood, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department, who said the school located at the building is the Hubbard College of Administration International.

First arriving crews saw smoke coming from the third floor of the four-story building, Humphrey said.
