HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — Southbound lanes of I-275 in Lutz, between the Bearrs exit and the State Road 56 exit, are closed as the Florida Highway Patrol investigates a fatal crash.

FHP said a 34-year-old Bushnell man was traveling southbound on a motorcycle when he hit a Nissan Rogue while changing lanes.

The motorcyclist was ejected, and the motorcycle traveled into the path of a third vehicle and was hit.

The man died at the scene, FHP said.

The drivers of the second and third vehicles were not injured.

Several first responders are at the scene. Drivers should find an alternate route.
