PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A suspect was arrested Thursday, four months after an attempted murder in Southeast Portland, officials said.

On May 17, Portland police said they responded to a shooting report on SE Flavel Street, where they found a man with numerous gunshot wounds.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, but ultimately he survived, officials said.

Following the shooting, while investigating, police said they saw a vehicle speeding on Southeast Foster Road, which they lost but later found unoccupied.

Eventually, a 17-year-old suspect was identified, and on Thursday, police said they arrested now 18-year-old Jomonee J. Foster.
