Arkansas Razorback quarterback Taylen Green (10) passes the ball during the second quarter against the Ole Miss Rebels at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi.

The Arkansas Razorbacks (2-1) and the Memphis Tigers (3-0) meet Saturday at the Simmons Bank Liberty Bowl in Memphis. Kickoff is scheduled for noon ET (ABC). Let's analyze BetMGM Sportsbook's NCAA football odds around the Arkansas vs. Memphis odds and make our expert college football picks and predictions for the best bets.

Arkansas racked up 108 total points in a pair of victories over the Alabama A&M Bulldogs and the Arkansas State Red Wolves to kick off the season, but it was on the short end of a 41-35 score in the SEC opener at Ole Miss. The Razorbacks had a balanced attack in the loss to the Rebels, running for 221 yards, while throwing for 305 yards. However, a lost fumble and 0-for-2 showing on field goals made the difference. QB Taylen Green was sharp, going 22-of-35 for 305 yards, 1 TD and 0 INTs, while running for 115 yards and a score.

Memphis has won all 3 of its games to date, but victories over the Chattanooga Mocs, Georgia State Panthers and Troy Trojans arent't necessarily impressive. It is 3-0 against the spread (ATS), too, however, while the Under has cashed at a very un-Memphis-like 3-0 clip. The defense has been good, allowing just 11.0 points per game (PPG), but that also is a product of the lack of quality opponents. Facing Green and the Hogs should change that. QB Brendon Lewis has completed 73.3% of his passes for 608 yards, 2 TDs and 1 INT, while running for 190 yards and 2 scores.

Memphis leads the all-time series 3-2, but Arkansas has won the past 2 meetings. However, these teams haven't met since Oct. 10, 1998, a 23-9 win by the Razorbacks at the Liberty Bowl.

Arkansas at Memphis picks and predictions

Prediction

Arkansas 41, Memphis 31

Moneyline

Arkansas (-275) will cost you nearly 3 times your potential return, and that's a little too expensive for a singular bet, and tossing it into a multi-leg parlay only decreases the value of your ticket significantly.

PASS, and look to the spread instead.

Against the spread

Back ARKANSAS -7 (-115) on the road, as this team looks to learn from its mistakes last week in Oxford.

The Razorbacks have managed to score at least 35 points in every game this season, but the offense ran into a buzzsaw last week. Memphis also might be able to move the ball, but the Arkansas offense will also be a shock to the system of Tigers' defense.

Over/Under

OVER 60.5 (-115) is a solid play.

Arkansas has scored at least 35 points in all 3 games, and it allowed 41 last week at Ole Miss. Look for the Tigers to be able to roll up some solid yardage and points.

On the flip side, Memphis has cashed the Under in all 3 games to date. But, it also hasn't played anybody, either. Green and the Razorbacks should score well in excess of the Memphis defensive points allowed total combined.
