Donations are pouring in for the family of a western Wisconsin middle school teacher who died after suffering an allergic reaction to a bee sting.
Mindy Ramberg, a fifth-grade social studies teacher at St. Croix Central Middle School in Hammond, Wis., died on Tuesday morning after being stung on her lip by a bee over the weekend.
She "had an allergic reaction within minutes and lost consciousness”, according to a CaringBridge site.
Now, community members and loved ones are supporting her husband and two young daughters through a GoFundMe campaign, which describes Ramberg as “truly one of a kind—full of light, selflessness, and boundless love.”
