CITYWIDE — MOSQUITOES CARRYING WEST NILE VIRUS have been detected in pools of water in every borough of New York City. To reduce the risk, the Health Department will conduct adulticide treatments in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. Trucks will spray pesticides in sections of Manhattan beginning Monday, Sept. 22, between the hours of 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. Sections of Brooklyn and Queens will be sprayed overnight Wednesday, Sept. 24-25, between 8:30 p.m. and 6 a.m. (Rain date: Sept. 25.)
