FORREST CITY, Ark. (WMC) - U.S. Marshals in Forrest City, Arkansas, arrested a man accused in a shooting on September 1.

The shooting happened at Star One Food Mart on Washington Street.

Police say Christopher Davenport Sr. was captured on camera pointing a gun at a man and shooting him in the leg before leaving the scene.

U.S. Marshals were able to track down Davenport to a home on D Avenue and found him hiding under a bed.

Davenport was booked in Forrest City Jail on a charge of first-degree battery.
