MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The suspended director of the Shelby County Office of Re-entry, along with his wife, had a bond hearing Friday.

DeAndre and Vinessa Brown are accused of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from a non-profit they run together, Lifeline to Success.

State investigators say that money, mostly from grants, was used for personal use, like paying mortgages or a vacation to Jamaica.

No decision was made on bond Friday; the judge continued the hearing to Tuesday.
