ABINGTON, Mass. —

A driver hit multiple parked vehicles and crashed into the front porch of an Abington home on Friday.

Officials say the collision occurred just before 9:30 a.m. in the area of Morton Street and Cleverly Street.

The vehicle was backing out of a driveway, crossed the street, and struck multiple parked cars before hitting a front porch entry of a home, according to the Abington Fire Department.

There were no reports of any injuries to the driver or anyone inside the house.

The building was deemed structurally sound by the Abington Building Commissioner, though the front entrance was deemed unusable until repair.

No residents will need to be displaced, and authorities cleared the scene just before noon.
