BEREA, Ohio -- A portion of Front Street (Ohio 237) will close Monday to allow for the installation of new utility lines. The project is expected to take up to two weeks.

Front Street will be closed to northbound traffic from Third Avenue to Depot Street. A detour is posted.

The detour begins at Bagley Road and continues to Eastland Road and Sheldon Road, then back to Ohio 237.

Southbound traffic will be maintained on Front Street.

The installation of water and sewer lines is part of the Cleveland Browns’ Cross Country Mortgage Campus Expansion Project, previously known as District 46.

The project is a multimillion-dollar, multi-use complex in the North End of Berea adjacent to the Browns Training Facility. It will include a community athletic field, hotel, University Hospitals sports
