The Portland Trail Blazers will enter their new season in about a month. As part of our ramp-up to the upcoming year, we’re asking a series of questions about the rotation and your views on its solidity. We’ve covered centers, power forwards, and small forwards so far. Today we move to the backcourt, looking at potential shooting guards.

For our purposes, we’re going to define Portland’s shooting guard rotation as primarily two players: Shaedon Sharpe and Matisse Thybulle. This is with full understanding that minor players like Blake Wesley or Caleb Love could crack the lineup, plus point guards like Jrue Holiday and Damian Lillard could serve at the two, and Rayan Rupert and Deni Avdija could always play a general wing position.
