In a time when compassion feels more vital than ever, Porterville proudly celebrates one of its own — Savannah Moreno , a Nurse Practitioner whose story is rooted in service, resilience, and visionary care.

Moreno’s path began as a Pharmacy Technician at our local CVS, followed by years as a Registered Nurse, including frontline work during the COVID pandemic. Her dedication to healing didn’t stop there.

While working as a Nurse Professor teaching nursing students in Porterville, she earned her m aster's in Nursing , becoming a Nurse Practitioner and inspiring the next generation of caregivers with lessons that go beyond textbooks.

“ Treat every patient like family,” she tells her students. “And remember — you’re never too good to clean a room or empty the trash.”
