COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person was injured Friday afternoon in a shooting involving police in southeast Columbus, Sgt. James Fuqua said.
According to a public safety dispatcher for the city, officers with the Columbus Division of Police were called around 5:05 p.m. to the 1400 block of Burstock Road near Frebis Avenue for a traffic stop.
Fuqua told 10TV the shooting involved police, who shot one person. No officers were injured.
The victim was taken to Grant Medical Center. Their condition is unknown at this time.
Details about what led to the shooting were not immediately availiable.
The shooting remains under investigation.
