ATLANTA — The holidays are right around the corner, and many have started to prepare to get gifts for loved ones near and far.

To ensure your gifts arrive on time, the United States Postal Service (USPS) is recommending the mailing and shipping dates for the 2025 holiday season:

USPS Ground Advantage service and First-Class Mail: Dec. 17

Priority Mail: Dec. 18

Priority Mail Express: Dec. 20

For customers who plan to use the Ground Advantage service, USPS is recommending a shipping date of Dec. 17 at the latest. For those in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and U.S. Territories, they are recommending that customers ship packages by Dec. 16. for USPS Ground Advantage service.
