A pair of Hamilton restaurants has been recognized — and a Lincoln eatery earned a prestigious two stars — in the latest Michelin Guide.

The fourth annual Michelin Guide to Toronto and its surrounding areas was unveiled on Thursday night. Every year, the internationally recognized dining guide rewards what its anonymous fleet of critics deems their favourites when it comes to dining and service.

Dundas appears to be Hamilton’s culinary hub, according to the guide, with Barrel Heart Brewing being awarded a “Bib Gourmand” and Quatrefoil given a recommendation.

A Bib Gourmand is a designation given to restaurants that offer “good quality food for a good value,” often known as “personal favourites” among the anonymous inspectors when eating out on their own time, according to the guid
