ROSELAND, La. —
The Tangipahoa Parish Government has provided more information and updates on the Roseland Incident response.
As of Friday, Sept. 19, 3,186,204 gallons of oil and water and 9,996 gallons of grease and water have been recovered. Advertisement
96,873 gallons were recovered with skimmers and 72,744 gallons were recovered by macro boats from the Tangipahoa River.
A total of 4,838,295 gallons have been recovered from the river as well as ponds in the area.
Tangipahoa Parish Government said flushing along the river will continue from north to south.
