BOONE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Boone Memorial Health Foundation opened their farmer’s market in Boone County as a part of their investment in health and wellness.

“Boone Memorial Health is mainly in the business of health care but part of that health care is a wellness initiative,” said Deanna Howell, director of Market on Main. “So, this is just a step beyond that.”

Market on Main gives the community easier access to healthier food options, mostly locally grown in West Virginia to promote local businesses.
