COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. - A 29-year-old Cottage Grove woman is facing assault and arson charges following an incident at a local residence earlier today, according to the Lane County Sheriff's Office.
LCSO officials said that sheriff's deputies responded to a trailer fire on Sept. 19 around 10 a.m. on Shoreview Drive. The fire occurred after a reported dispute, authorities said. Deputies said they found Illoria Naomi Anderson, 29, of Cottage Grove, walking away from the scene. Following an investigation, Anderson was arrested and charged with first-degree arson and fourth-degree assault.
The Oregon State Police, Oregon Department of Forestry, and South Lane Fire assisted the LCSO at the scene.
