COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Wildlife officials came to the rescue after a bear cub found itself in a hospital parking garage.
On Friday, Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) said officers responded to CommonSpirit St. Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs for a bear cub that found its way into the building’s underground employee parking.
Wildlife officers said the 9-month-old bear cub was temporarily immobilized so that officers could bring it to a wildlife trailer.
Once confirming it was still asleep, officers said they gave the cub an ear tag and a “wake-up” drug.
The cub was then reportedly taken to Colorado Parks and Wildlife’s wildlife rehabilitation facility in Frisco.
