Pittsburgh is celebrating Welcoming Week, a movement to build communities where everyone can belong and thrive, with events and proclamations recognizing local groups' efforts.

Inside the City-County Building, booths are set up with various resources for the global celebration. Local groups received proclamations recognizing their efforts in this initiative. Advertisement

"It's exciting to get a proclamation, especially because our organization is a collaborative organization. It's called the Collaborative for Immigrant Impact. It's made up of 18 organizations here in the region who have decades of experience supporting immigrant families," said Jenna Baron, of ARYSE.
