A complaint filed in Delaware County Common Pleas Court seeking an emergency injunction against the use of the former Springfield Hospital property on Sproul Road and an associated garage appears to have already borne the kind of fruit the township was seeking.

The complaint, filed by township Solicitor Jim Byrne on Thursday, names Prospect Medical Holdings, the Foundation for Delaware County, the Community YMCA of Eastern Delaware County and Ventas Inc. as defendants, and asks the court to direct them to remediate various issues related to the property at 190 W. Sproul Road and an adjacent parking garage used by YMCA members.
