ROCHESTER, Minn. -- Doughnut fans in Rochester will have a sweet new destination this weekend with the official opening of Parlor Doughnuts, the first Minnesota location of the popular layered doughnut shop.
The shop is hosting a grand opening Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. inside Forager Brewery at 1005 Sixth St. NW. Regular hours will then be Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Saturdays 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and Sundays 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Co-owner Karine Marsac described Parlor Doughnuts as a “different kind of donut” from the traditional cake or yeast varieties. “What we do is we fry these donuts.
