It'll feel like fall across Connecticut this weekend, with well below-average temperatures.

But first, Friday night temperatures will fall through the 50s and into the 40s in many towns and cities. It will be coolest in the northern part of the state.

Both Saturday and Sunday will be dry, with Saturday being the sunnier of the two weekend days.

On Sunday, a few clouds will filter the sun at times, but it will be a nice day overall.

Dry weather will continue through the first day of fall on Monday. Autumn officially begins at 2:19 pm ET on Monday.

We look ahead to Tuesday when our next chance of rain arrives. Temperatures will make a return to near 80 degrees by Tuesday.
