Jets receiver Josh Reynolds, the victim of a shooting last year , appears to have been mistaken for someone else as new details emerge in the 2024 case.

According to a report from the Denver Post , a group of individuals in October shot Reynolds — who was a member of the Broncos at the time — because he resembled someone who had scammed the attackers out of $250,000 worth of cocaine.

Seven adults involved in the shooting have now been arrested on attempted murder charges, along with a juvenile also being charged.

An eighth adult remains at large, according to court filings obtained by the Denver Post.
