WHITEMARSH — Plymouth Whitemarsh had the complete performance its been looking for Friday night. The Colonials celebrated homecoming with a 44-0 win over Penn Wood at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School.
All three phases made major contributions in the win.
“I was really proud of how we came out right from the start and did what we needed to do in all three phases,” Plymouth Whitemarsh coach Dan Chang said. “We got some big plays turnover-wise. I thought offensively our o-line was blocking well, we were running the ball tough… I thought our defense was stellar. They fly to the ball, really physical. I’m proud of how far we’ve come since Week 1.”
The starting offense played the first half. In seven possessions, they scored five touchdowns and set up a field goal for a 38-0 lead at the break.
