VIRGINIA — The Bemidji High School girls tennis team split its second straight triangular on Friday.

Following a win against Sartell and a loss against St. Cloud Tech on Thursday, Bemidji traveled to Virginia, losing to host Rock Ridge 5-2. However, the Lumberjacks salvaged a 5-2 win against Crosby-Ironton.

Doubles was a strength for BHS in the triangular, winning five out of six matches. Zoë McNallan was paired with Liz Peterson at No. 2 doubles against Rock Ridge, winning their match 7-5, 6-3. Naomi Johnson was paired with Kelli Carlson in No. 3 doubles, winning both sets 6-2.
