SKIATOOK -- Senior running back Ka'Dean Drummond found the end zone three times as unbeaten Skiatook defeated Hale 27-17 on Friday night.
The Bulldogs’ home opener, which also served as homecoming, was a rematch from 2024 against Hale, a game Skiatook won in dominating fashion, 42-12. Hale, looking for its first 3-0 start since 2006, was much more competitive this time.
“He’s (Drummond) just a force,” Skiatook coach Preston Pearson said. “He’s physical, the yards after initial contact are tremendous. We’re really blessed that he’s playing well and feeling good.”
Skiatook (3-0) started aggressively after getting the ball first and put it on the shoulders of Drummond,, whose TD gave the Bulldogs a 7-0 lead. He had two TDs in last year's win over Hale.
