SECTION – Things got off to a good start for the Cedar Bluff Tigers in their Class 2A, Region 7 football game at Section on Friday. Kadien Tracy scored the game’s first touchdown on an 8-yard run to give the Tigers an early lead, but Section scored 19 unanswered points to take a 19-7 victory.

It was the Lions’ first victory of the season.

Following an 83-yard kick return, Section quarterback Aaron Thomas scored on a 3-yard run to make it a 7-6 game at the end of the first quarter. The 2-point try was no good.

Section (1-4, 1-2) took the lead for good on Landon Vaughn’s 9-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter. The 2-point conversion failed, keeping the score at 12-7 Lions.
