Nashville police on Thursday arrested a 19-year-old from Decatur and charged him with criminal homicide for a fatal shooting that occurred over two years ago.
On Jan. 31, 2023, 23-year-old Jonathan Seda was found dead inside a vacant home in the 3200 block of Crowe Drive.
An ongoing investigation by the Metro Nashville Police Department found that Decatur’s Brandon Long, who was visiting Nashville at the time, lured Seda and his brother to the basement of the vacant house for a suspected drug transaction, according to a recent release.
During the meeting, Seda was fatally shot, and his 18-year-old brother was wounded. The brother recovered from his injuries.
After learning this month from Alabama authorities that he was wanted in Nashville, Long surrendered at MNPD headquarters Thursda
