HARTFORD – It was efficient night in all phases for the Providence Christian Eagles on Friday in their Class 2A, Region 2 game with Geneva County.

The PCS offense scored on seven of nine possessions with one of two non-scoring series a kneel out to end the game, while the Eagles’ defense prevented the potent Bulldogs from getting loose, allowing only one touchdown through most of the game with the last GCHS score coming in the game’s final minute with the score well in hand.

With both the offense and defense working at a high level, the Eagles easily dispatched Geneva County 42-16 at Hartford’s Dixie Howell Memorial Stadium at J.D. Chesteen Field.
