A beach hazards statement was issued by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 3:44 a.m. valid between 5 a.m. and 8 p.m. for Niagara County.

The weather service comments, "Strong currents and dangerous swimming conditions expected."

"Strong currents and dangerous swimming conditions," explains the weather service. "Stay out of the water to avoid dangerous swimming conditions."
