CARMEL – Kids’ Day, a popular community gathering at Putnam Hospital Center, takes place today on the hospital campus in Carmel.

The 16th Kids’ Day sponsored by the PHC Auxiliary will feature a wide array of activities for children of all ages including a visit from Dr. Bear.

A host of interactive health and safety exhibits is planned along with kids’ crafts, a child identification program and a teddy bear clinic. Hospital departments will be on hand to provide information on nutrition, emergency care, physical therapy and more. There will be demonstrations on car seat safety, proper bicycle helmet use and heart monitoring, as well as fire truck and ambulance tours.
