Marine Vietnam veteran and retired Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) special Agent George Williams has spent his life in service of the United States. Now, as the chairman of the Alabama Minority Republican Party (GOP), Williams has a message in the wake of the Charlie Kirk assassination.

"I'm seeing that Republicans and conservatives, even independents, are finally realizing the damage that the Democrats have been and are doing to our country, the United States, and it's very dangerous what they're doing," Williams told 1819 News. "We're finally realizing and we're finally standing up to them."

After meeting Kirk at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee last summer, Williams said what Kirk was doing was effective. He hopes the mission does not end with Kirk's death.
