It is a mild start to Saturday with another unseasonally warm afternoon. With peak heating, a few storms are possible later this afternoon. We are not expecting any widespread rain.
Temperatures will remain above average for the first day of Fall. Highs will sit in the upper 80s until big changes arrive late in the week.
Our dry spell should come to an end as a low sets up over the Mississippi Valley bringing us some much-needed rain through Friday. Some areas could see near 2". The rain will bring our highs back near seasonal average.
TRACKING THE TROPICS - Gabrielle moves NW through the Atlantic and is expected to curve out to sea this weekend. The current track has the system moving east of Bermuda and strengthening over warm waters. Gabrielle is not expected to directly impact land
